Through careful spatial planning this long narrow garden has been transformed into a series of outdoor "rooms" to be enjoyed by all the family.

The pale granite terrace is made to appear wider by using a horizontal band of black basalt linking it to the built in fireplace which is clad in the same stone. Panels of evergreen hedging screen both the barbecue area and children play equipment from view, additional planting provides structure, scent and colour throughout the year. The project was featured in a one hour BBC 2 programme about the world renowned Sissinghurst Gardens and it’s legacy.

"It is beyond anything we could have hoped for and we enjoy it everyday."
