Declan Buckley worked with Tasou Associates in response to a competition by The Architecture Foundation to transform the Amelia Street area in South London.

Our proposals included remodelling the park and adding green corridors through extensive planting. Individual streets were to be planted with specific tree species to give them a stronger visual identity.

Traffic calming measures were proposed along with reducing street clutter and widening pavements, allowing cafes and other activities to spill onto them. Other proposals included integrated cycle parking and reducing the impact of car parking.
